Paper stories

This is an idea that I got from Alice Ayel ( a Spanish teacher in Germany.

For this activity students were divided in groups of two or three depending on class size. Students were asked to write a story using structures and vocabulary acquired during CI lessons. They also had to make characters and other props out of paper. Once their project was ready, each group had to come to the "filming table" to record. One student narrated the story (no reading allowed) and the other worked with the props, characters and sound effects. If a third student is present, s/he would film. When they are done filming and telling their stories, we all get to sit, watch and enjoy the videos using a projector. I thought students could complete this project in one class period (60 min) but it turned out to be a little longer than expected. (120 min)
